I am encountering an issue when connecting my LG TV to my Deco M5 network.

Setup:

x2 Deco M5 are set up in Access Point mode and hard wired to my ISP router (with Wifi switched off). Coverage, speed and stability has been great for months now and there are no issues there. Beamforming, fast roaming and mesh mode are all switched on.

Issue:

I cannot discover my LG TV from my phone app (ThinQ). The TV connects fine to the network, has internet connectivity and an excellent wifi signal. We can stream on it all day long with no issues. However, when trying to connect the phone app to the TV locally, it keeps saying that TV is disconnected. As a troubleshooting step, I switched on the Wifi on my ISP router with a different SSID, connected the TV and phone to it, and the TV was discovered immediately.

It seems that the Deco M5 is blocking some LAN discovery mechanism or protocol being used by LG on their smart devices.

Has anyone had a similar issue?

Any suggestions on fixing this are welcome.
