Slow download speeds over WiFi on Archer A7
Today I switched to GigaONE from SparkLight. I have an Arris Surfboard 8200 modem and an Archer A7 router. Connected directly to the modem and to the router via ethernet I can download up to 879 Mbps and upload approximately 50 Mbps. However, on WiFi the highest download speed I can get is approximately 250 Mbps. I have the latest firmware on the modem and router, and the latest drivers and Windows updates for my laptop.
