Hi,

I don't know if I'm missing something.

I have Fio internet only 200/200 with Ethernet from ONT > G3100 > S4.

I want to remove the G3100 and I've tried the DHCP release and then setting up the Deco S4 using the app. (Tried dynamic IP and clone mac...) Still can't get the internet to connect.

Are there other strategies I can try?

@Chomper10

Set up the S4 back to the ONT box, then see if the Deco gets a WAN IP address. It should be a public IP address. If you do get a public IP, you may need to configure DNS servers like 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4

You can also connect a computer to the Ethernet cable to see if the box is able to give the a internet to a DHCP connected device.
