Access cable modem diagnostics with Archer C50

Is there a way to get an Archer C50 to let me log into the cable modem itself? typically if I plug my pc directly into the cable modem, I can access a diagnostics page..but the c50 blocks me from doing this.. and swapping cables isn't terribly convieient.. can set up a port forward or some such?
with this info:
router ip: 192.168.0.1
IP Address: 97.95.221.20
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 97.95.221.1
with my old routers if I tried to connect to the default gateway it would connect me to the modem.. the c50 doesn't do that..
I can get to mine, and on quite a few router's I've done that. Depends on modem and it's default IP address. Ones I've had are 192.168.100.1, so try that in your Browser's URL area. You can also Google for your modem's IP address if that doesn't work. I can do that on any device on my LAN.
When I enter that into my browser, here is what I see on my Arris Modem:
All I need do is click on Basic and I'm in (don't have the p/w for Advanced which it seems to default to).
