We have a unique situation in our 2 story home and weird dead spots. I have my router from my service provider upstairs in my office. HAlf way down the stairs, on the landing, I have a RE 200 plugged into the wall. It gets 5gh and 2.4 GH signal. 15 feet away and at the bottom of the stairs in the living room is my wifes computer, all is well with her signal. 10 feet away I get no signal in my chair. To get upstairs you walk up the first flight of stairs to a landing then turn to the left and walk up the remaining flight, a 180* turn.This turn acts as a noise silencer which is good but it is a signal killer.On my back patio I have sketchy reception. Suggestions? I am in the process now of moving the RE200 into different plugs upstairs. Would an extender upstairs then one on the stair landing help, would a better of more powerful extender help is the 1750 better than the 200.
