Model: Archer C2300
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 2.0.3 Build 20180611 Rel. 77668

I have Spectrum internet and recently setup the following router/modem combo:

Modem: Arris Surfboard SB6183

Router: TP-Link AC2300

Hard wired into the router I've been getting roughly 80 down/8 up, however connected to the modem I'm getting 400+ down/25+ up. Any idea why that is or what settings I can check on the router?

@nvysptirf

Make sure you disable all three security features in the router (Advanced > Security), also in QoS, set that to standard, and in device priority disable it for any device. Swap the cable you are using connecting to the router (even if it is the one that came with the router) and also try different ports.

I figured it out, it was the cable; swapped out the cable between my modem and router and it was fixed.
