Access USB HDD at same adress at different computers
![](/avatar/avatar-19.png)
Hello,
I have a USB drive connected to my TP-Link AC2300.
On my laptop I can access it at \\TP-Share.But on my desktop I can't reach that adress. I can connect to it but at 'This PC\TP-Share\Browse Folders'.
When trying to access \\TP-Share I get "Windows cannot access \\TP-Share".
I'd like to have the same access as on the laptop. How can I fix this?
The laptop is running W10 Home and the desktop W10 Pro.

@ArcherC8 After doing this I still got an error message "You can’t access this shared folder because your organization’s security policies block unauthenticated guest access".
I followed this guide https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4046019/guest-access-in-smb2-disabled-by-default-in-windows-10-and-windows-ser. Now it works fine, I can map the drive. Don't know if its the best or correct way to do it but it works!

Use the IP of the router which should take you to the folders, from there map the drive so you dont have to keep entering the address, it is just a icon.

@Tony Hi, thansk for your response. I can reach the drive by typing the ftp adress in windows explorer, but I cant map the ftp (it says not accessible) and I cant reach it only using the IP-adress.
