No internet, Secured with Archer C9 but works fine on Archer C7
Hi there!
I have one computer on my Archer C9 v5 network that gives me a Secured no internet problem on the WiFi connection. I have tested the network/computer by hooking up an Archer C7 and it works fine.
What might be different about these two routers that would cause this problem on one but not the other?

If you are connecting over Wi-Fi forget the Archer C9 network, and reconnect so the router prompts for the wireless password.
Another thing you can try is to connect a Ethernet cable to see if the LAN connection works with the C9.
Check the Wi-Fi adapter settings as well, make sure the IPV4 is set to obtain the IP automatically and does not have a static IP address.

Yes, I have tried forgetting the network and re-connecting. That doesn't help. Yes, plugging in with a cable works fine.
Here are some other symptoms:
- Secured no internet showing, but I can browse the internet ok.
- Outlook can't sync with gmail servers
Other steps I've taken:
- Reset the Network and re-connect
- Tried with Archer C7 -- everything works fine with C7
- Changing the station ID and password
- Disabled firewalls
- Disabled family internet filtering
Nothing seems to work.
What else should I try?

In going back you mentioned one computer so you are not seeing this on other computers correct?

@Tony There are two laptops in my network have have this issue.
@kurgom86 I'll give that bridging idea a try. But I don't have anything special setup here, I'm just a simple home network. So Im not sure why I'd need to do advanced setup changes. Thanks!

@Tony I take my last post back...still getting No Internet Secured on both computers. It gave me 1 hour of Connected, Secured.
Same issues....Secured, No internet
I can browse in Chrome
Outlook won't connect to IMAP servers
