Do I need to perform a reset of sorts if I am switching from Uverse to Xfinity?

Currently I have Uverse set up in access point mode.  I did not have to disable WiFi at initial set up and it has been running extremely smoothly ever since set up.

I am now swtiching to Xfinity for faster speeds. I purchased my own modem (no router capabilities) and will connect one node as the router and the other 2 wirelessly on the other side of the house. Do I need to perform a reset to switch to Xfinity or simply unplug and connect to the new modem? For what it's worth, I plan on keeping the SSID name.

Thanks in advance!

@SamGrizz

You do not need to reset your Decos. If any when connect the main Deco to the modem, leave the Deco powered on and just reboot the modem so it can recognize the Deco and give it an IP address (Green LED).
