Will an existing slower PA4010 Powerline adapter (600Mbps) work with a new P9020p 2 gigabit adapter?

Hi,

Yes, all of our Powerilne adapters utilize the HomePlug AV/AV2 standard and are compatible with each other. For best results, we always recommend using the adapter with the fastest data rate (TL-PA9020P in your case) as the primary Powerline connection to your router.

Please keep in mind that devices connecting to the slower Powerline adapters will likely connect at a lower data rate than those connected to the faster units, so be sure to plan accordingly when deploying your Powerilne network.

Regards,
