I have tried installing the driver multiple times and have placed the card into 2 different PCI-E slots (the 2 slot ones) in my pc. It looks as though the driver is not properly installing or it is not recognizing the device as matching the drivers that are installing. The device shows up in Device Manager but shows error (Code 28) Drivers are not installed for this device.

 

The green light on the card itself is on, so it is getting power. I have also tried uninstalling everything, restarting, reinstalling, restarting in various sequences with no change in outcome.


Does this mean the card is faulty?

 

I have an MSI 970A SLI Krait Edition MoBo and current Win 10 updates installed.

 

I have contacted support but any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

Support got back to me with a public driver that fixed the problem!

hello, I am having troubles with windows 10 current version 1809. Can you publish the updated drivers that you got from the support?

 

or at least send them to me privately.
