Setting up network address on Powerline 2000 how do you do it

I have one connected to my aimesh upstairs and one connected to my pc downstairs but how do i set it up to get a network address and get online with it. The two powerlines are communicating and the speed is 500 but I do not know how to set it up for access and stuff. Thank you.
