Archer C8 WDS bridging from a portable hotspot

I am wanting to hook my old at&t unite hotspot up to my Archer c8 as my internet source. Please note that I have no idea what I am doing but talked to CS last night and they told me this is possible through WDS Bridging and sent me here https://www.tp-link.com/en/faq-825.html I followed everything several times and can't get it to work.
