RE500, AP mode, drops connections, requests password

I'm using my RE500 in AP mode. It's wired to the router via ethernet, and broadcasts under the same SSID as router, on both 2.4 and 5 Ghz. Everything seems fine most of the time. However periodically my iPhone will lose Wifi and then pop up a password dialog. I can either type my wifi password and rejoin, or enter iphone settings and manually rejoin the network (don't need the password).This issue manifested after installing the RE500, and usually happens once or twice a day. This is not in repeater mode, it is in AP mode. Any thoughts?
