Can someone clarify the hardware differences between the C2300 and A2300? Is just additional memory, region, and inclusion of TP-Link HomeCare?

A2300 is a Walmart exclusive. Don't know if there are any differences except the firmware .

I'm kind of hoping that's the case.  Got an RMA replacement for a C2300 and the packing list stated No label needed, model upgrade due to inventory.  I went searching to determine the differences and frankly I'm not seeing much other than firmware releases on different dates.

@Jaw0686 Hi! I was also sent a C2300 to replace my A2300 under warranty. The A2300 had a lifetime subscription to HomeCare. It looks like the C2300 requires a paid subscription after a few months. Did TP-Link honor your lifetime HomeCare subscription? Thanks!

This was originally the case but TP-Link renegotiated with the contract and it is now lifetime for all original owners and current/future owners.
