WR841N v13 - where is N-only for access point mode?

Until now I was using this router in hotspot mode and had it set to N-only wireless network. Well, after just reconfiguring my network and changing the router to be an access point, I no longer have the 'N-only' option--just 'b/g' and 'b/g/n.' The parent router, an Actiontec, is set to 'N-only.' Everything works fine, but why can't I set it to 'N-only'--I don't get it? Why did that option disappear? I have the latest firmware installed.
