Archer C50 (AC1200 Wireless Wi-Fi Dual Band)
Hi, soz if there is a C50 thread but I did search and look. surprised that there isn't one already because mine has served me well! no issues with its' performance, reliability, etc. working with a ZyXEL (HitronTechnologies) Cable Modem DOCSIS 3.0 (CDA30360) on TWC (Spectrum) internet only! I've started this thread because researching the Krack hack and update patches I've uncovered questions about my model, the C50, separate from the hack and associated update fixes so... will post them here in hopes of answers! :cool:
Router Mode or AP Mode on my Archer C50
hi, can someone instruct me on how to put my ArcherC50 into Router Mode or AP Mode? or where to find instructions? ... because i think we will not be getting a firmware patch after reading the sticky! and getting a security patch for my android phone (Moto X Pure) is a fantasy due to the fact that i still don't have nougat!!! lol

posting answers from the Krack thread so gonna assume no firmware update is forthcoming but also that the vulnerability is still open for clients! my chromebook is wired so no threat there (?) but as for my android phone... ugh!!! (my Moto X Pure still waiting for Nougat! :p)
