Model : AC1900

Hardware Version : Archer C9 v1

Firmware Version : Archer C9 V1 150514 US

ISP : Centurylink

I am running an Archer C9 behind a Centurylink modem and both are running NAT which is restricting my network. The Centurylink modem has am option to disable NAT but then I lose my internet connection. Is there a way to disable NAT on the Archer C9?

How about configure the C9 as access point?

Sure, I'm not very familiar with the difference between routers and access points but I'm sure there are plenty of threads on the topic.

Ok, I found directions on the internet and basically all I had to do is turn off DHCP. Everything else was already done like changing the IP address and SSID. Should I do anything about the firewall?
