Troubleshooting an Unstable Connection
You connect a device to the TP-Link powerline adapter via cable or Wi-Fi, internet connection works but it’s intermittent. It could be the powerline adapter or other factors. Please follow the troubleshooting below to figure it out.
End devices means computer, laptop, mobile phone, etc.
Case 1
Step 1
Disable power saving mode (click here).
Step 2
Upgrade to the adapter to the latest firmware (click here).
Step 3
Contact TP-Link support to provide details and troubelshoot further.

Step 1
Login web-based management interface of the wireless powerline extender (click here). Then go to Wireless > Settings page,

Change the channel and channel width. If you have a dual band adapter you may have to preform this step for each band.
Step 3
Upgrade to the adapter to the latest firmware (click here).

Disable then enable the Ethernet connection

Check Ethernet IPv4 address and Default Gateway of your computer (click here).
