AC1750 slow internet speed

Hello, I have AC-1750 v2, and slows down the wifi internet speed. I thought the issue was coming from the cable modem or line. But, when I directly connect my laptop to the cable modem, the speed is OK (~11 Mbps). When I use wifi through the router, it goes down to <2 Mbps. I installed the latest firmware, V2_170525, but the issue does not go away. I'm now using my old Netgear router.
