Hi,
I'm trying to get the blacklist to work for filtering out websites & content.

It seems that you can't specifically do this "per user". This would be fine if there was an admin pw that could be put in.

I'm able to set up the specific times for each user just fine. But, when I try adding keywords to the blacklist, nothing seems to work.

Example: I've tried: youtube, youtube.com, www.youtube.com, https:www.youtube.com, http://www.youtube.com & http:m.youtube.com. None of these work.

I try to block my own phone to no avail. Yes, it's running through wi-fi & not data.
This ability is specifically why I bought this router. However, it looks like there have been questions that have not been answered on here. I'm hoping this one will have an acceptable answer. Otherwise, I'll have to send this back.
Thanks for any insight.

Most of the other people mentioning issues with Parental Controls on these routers, all say that it simply does not work. I've personally tried all technical tweaks and have to resort to manually pushing the WiFi On/Off button on the side of the router at night and turning it on in the morning. I would send the unit back, and find a better router, or other parental software.

Thanks Gracie7. Agreed. I've spent enough time trying to get it to work. The parental controls worked better on my 4 year old router. Seems like an easy fix for TP-Link. But, oh well.

@BlueLight  Yup, some real BS - blacklist clearly doesn't work and whitelist has issues as well...
