My download speeds are fantastic and my DSL Reports Speed Test was rated A+ A A+, meaning that Nat Boost was doing its job and getting rid of my bufferbloat. But yesterday I was downloading Star Citizen and the speed was 34 Megabytes/s (MB not Mbit), but I couldn't watch Youtube videos at all while the download was ongoing. I thought for sure the Nat Boost would balance things out but in this case it didn't seem to handle any kind of QOS activity. I am bad at setting up QOS manually but it looks like I may have to anyway.

So my question is what router settings should I use? I game all the time and stream videos, sometimes simultaneously. Thanks.

Actually NAT boost function accelerates your network speed to up to 900+ Mbps with external data forwarding module bypassing CPU of the router.
However, if you disable NAT boost, all the network speed will be held by the CPU and it could also achieve around 200 to 300 Mbps with capacity of CPU.
In addition, QoS is a kind of feature that must be controlled by CPU thus you need to disable NAT boost to let data flow through CPU so that it could be controlled and optimized.

So in this case, it's recommend to disable NAT boost as it will not actually slow down your speed in your network environment.
For how to depends on the model number of your router.

Thanks. So that explains why QOS is disabled in order to use Nat Boost. I wish there was a way to combine the two where speed was handled by the EDF (which bypasses the CPU) and speed allocation was handled by the router CPU at the same time. Maybe a future firmware update will offer something like this. I certainly do like this Archer 1200 though which seems to be one of the better routers currently.
