Has anyone determined the differences? I feel like MU-MIMO is automatically enabled on V2. Was there an increase in RAM or Flash memory?

I can tell you that Link Aggregation isn't in V1 but is in V2.

I'm curious too. There have been three firmware updates beyond the last release of the V1. The most noteable item logged in those is the " Improved the WIFI performance".

I'm tempted to update my v1 and buy a v2 simply because they continue to release firmware updates and improve the firmware.

I have an Archer C5400 at our office and love the the cloud function feature, but also like that it has auto updates for firmware. I wonder if V2 for C3150 offers that feature with the addition of the Cloud Function in V2.

C3150 V2 does support TP-Link Cloud.

Doesn't seem like v2 has a bridge mode. I am so puzzled as to why a $200 router doesn't have a bridge mode. In fact, not many TP-Link routers support a bridge mode. What do they expect you to in very large houses and very long distances?

bridge mode mainly used in Modem but this C3150 is a router. But you can use a wireless access point.

Does it come with HomeCare? Does it also have the new Parental Control settings?
The emulator on the website do not have this version for testing.

Well I don't see Homecare shown anywhere in my settings, also while Parental controls are there I'm not sure if they are the ones you are looking for.

The new parental controls have the profiles.
You can choose between Child, Teen and so on.
I know it has the simple version, were you just block certain devices. But on V2 you have the new version.

I upgraded from v1 to v2 and it was worth it on a couple of levels.

First, the 5 Ghz wifi is noticeably better with the revised chipset in place.

Second, the new generation of firmware finally feels like this is a router to rival what Asus is doing in this market. Not just the parental controls or the hacking protection, but the whole setup. It's really well done.

Just ebay the v1, get the v2 and profit.
