Deco BE65 pro Not working with IPv6
I'm not sure if my device is bad, or if tplink is incapable. I had asus routers in the past, they don't last for me or have quality control issues. Unfortunately every other router I have tried is stupidly restrictive, have pay wall to the point of being a wast of money, as seems to be the case it seems for this be65 pro even though the one it replaced is 300 dollars cheaper....
for what i'm trying to do is pretty simple.... enable ipv6. I have already spent 4 hours trying different combinations to get it to work while putting up with the very buggy app that this device is forced to use. My fiber provider is sumo fiber through utopia, and it's all automated. Which I have confirmed with Amazon's eero, which took 5 seconds to enable and tested working. So why won't the tplink do its job? It grabs a primary dns, the eero grabbed a prim and secondary, address prefix and standard ipv6 addres, I have gotten it to work temporarily once but only two devices registered it working everything else stated they were only ipv4, I reset the router to see if that fixed it but the buggy app reverted the settings and I never got it working again. If it wasn't for eeros massive paywall from what I'd consider basic functions and the lack of a secondary iot network I would honestly stick to that. But I like tplinks switches and their smart devices so I want to give them a real shot but can't seem to figure this out. Anyone on here have any ideas?
