BE65(US) V2 - One of the Satellite bricked

Hi there!
One of the satellite node is stuck in (amber) light, it does this as soon as it connects to power. I tried to use the recovery mode (UBoot) but I could not find the firmware that works for this. The firmware listed in BE11000 does not work, I could not find the v2 US version of BE65 in the support website. I also tried the pre-lease version provided by @David-TP Enhancing Satellite Deco Network Stability with Deco BE11000/BE63_V2.6_1.1.7 - Home Network Community but still get the same upgrade failed message. Any help please.

Quite possible that Release doesn't work well with the BE65?
I am NOT on it:
Note on the link you supplied. " The 1.1.7 version could revert to 1.1.5/1.1.6 directly via web UI."
I guess you can get the same one I have from the D/L center, just enter BE63 to get to the F/W download area. Maybe that would fix it? No 'plain' BE65 versions in the D/L area for some reason, which is odd. I suspect the BE63 and BE65 run the same F/W. The difference seems to be how some post the f/w?
For instance:
- If you enter BE65, you can't see the 'plain' version, but do see the other type, the PRO version, but no V2.0
- If you enter BE63, you do see the V2.0 f/w.
- Since the BE65 is also listed as BE11000 and enter that, you DO see the V2.0 f/w as well as an Archer Pro model.
- However, entering BE10000 which is what the BE63 is also called, no Deco/Router is found?
Very confusing. Since both the BE63 and BE65 have similar names, why on the D/L site use the BE63 for one Deco and BE11000 for the other one? One wonders what is the REAL name for these 2?
Anyway, I'd try the 1.1.6 version as it says you can go back to that. Then try the 1.1.7 again if it worked restoring the older one.
Report back, I'll hold off on updating mine until I know how you made out...
Didn't work, I'd contact support or post this in the link you posted so David-TP can see your problem and maybe offer a solution?

@IrvSp It is indeed confusing and noway to find the version that works for BE65 (US) V2.0.
1.1.7 does seem to work on these BE65s when uploaded using WebGUI as the other 2 units are working fine with it (router and 1 of the satellite nodes).
1.1.6 is not available to download from US site: Download for Deco BE65 | TP-Link it is available to download from Malaysia (no idea whether this would work in US version of router as I could not get it work on the failed node).
1.1.6 is also offered for BE11000 (Download for Deco BE11000 | TP-Link) but the hardware version is V2.60. I tried this and it did not work either.
So, I could not find the exact match to download from the US support page and whatever versions I tried, all of them have failed to recover the BE65(US) v2.0 node. Hope @David-TP or someone from TP-Link could help!

Update: I had to contact support to get the correct firmware which perfectly worked with the recovery upload. All set now.
Thanks to Support team, it was quick and easy to reach and get help!

Glad you got it resolved.
Wish there was CLEAR way to get BE65 V2.0 f/w. Using BE11000 just doesn't seem right to me, not sure what I'm getting, but the BE65 is not the only BE11000, the BE65 Pro is also called the BE11000. So using BE11000 might be the wrong F/W.

That would be the 1.1.4 version from Jan. 2025 it seems might have been the one the units were first shipped with?
They did have some fixes though, so you migth want to go up to at least 1.1.6 which I am on, 1.1.6 Build 20250220 Rel. 28737, and it works for me 'ok'.
I think it is the one here, https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/deco-be11000/#Firmware
At least it appears to be the first one above. Note the fixes in the first two. Since the 1.1.4 is not on the list, some fixes in 1.1.5 and all in 1.1.6 you'd be missing.
However, there might be a situation that if you do install 1.1.6 and have a problem youi might not be able to go back to 1.1.4?
