Model: Deco X55 Pro
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1,4.0

I have a Deco55 and the app shows no clients. Not only that, but the ip addresses on the sattelite Decos are now different. The main Deco is 192,168.68.1 and now the sattelite Decos are 192.168.71.xx. The internet seems to be working fine. Clicking on 'Clients' brings me to a screen that shows Online Clients (0) and Offline Clients 129. Also, I have 3 clients connected by ethernet, and two of those are on the main unit. The connction to each sattellite deco is strong (full green bars).

I was actually in the Deco app when this occurred, but I wasn't changing settings, I was just looking for the IP address of a large format printer so I could log into it's settings.

Now, if I log into the web app, <after an eternity>, the client list does finally populate, but the IP addresses on the clients remain with 71 (not 68). Iy's very possible that the ip addresses of the clients are supposed to be in a different range, and that I never noticed. In that case, my issue is just with the clients not being shown on the app.

Does anyone have any insight as to what's going on? Many thanks.

Depending on the subnet the IP address difference could be like that.  If you log into the Deco app tap More > Advanced > Lan IP.  Your Subnet is likely 255.255.252.0.  If you choose DCHP Server instead of LAN IP in the Advacened menu you will see a Range 192.168.68.50 to 192.168.71.250 of addresses.  Deco devices have a larger subnet than a traditional router and a larger DHCP pool because they support more clients on the network than traditional routers can.

@Carl Thank you for the reply. That all makes sense, but the question remains, where did all my clients go on the app?

For the client list population what I would recommend is sending the app logs to the team.  Open the Deco App.  Bring on the sidebar menu and tap Support Center.  Open any FAQ and scroll to the bottom and tap No, I need more help.  Tapo on Email Us.  Select App and click the bubble to add system log. in the description feild add a brief summary of the issue and send.  This will open a ticket and our support team will be able to work with you directly to resolve that concern.

@Carl I have done that, so thank you. I have not yet received a response. I hoped that the issue would correct itself but it still remains. All my clients currently connected to the network are listed as offline along with the devices that are truly offline.

Did you get a automated response with a ticket number?  Starts with a TKID.  If you did please share that so i can look into this.
