So I'm not very tech knowledgeable but I do my best so bare wit me plz. So I use the TP LINK extender bc the main router is in the main house & I rent a small apartment build off the end of the garage on the property. I also work from home @Chewy in THE CALL CENTER & am quickly learning that I'm needing to upgrade several thgs but for now,I'm dealing. I OFTEN have download & upload speeds that r fine & meet Chewys requirements HOWEVER my calls break up & lag ALL DAY LONG, not every call but the majority of them. I run speed tests all day long bc I'm in a constant state of worry wondering if my next call will be ok. I've moved the device around the apartment & found what I believe to be the best location (using ur location tool) The landlord has reset the equipment in the house but nothing seems to help. In the tether app there's a link to reboot. I haven't clicked it but can u gimme an example/scenario of when I would need to reset & also what I should do now? Do I reboot & if so do I lose all my settings? I'm so sorry
