  @Ryan

I have a problem with my be550 router, Amazon Echo Pop, Spot, and Dot 5 devices keep disconnecting after the router is restarted. I need to restore the settings to factory defaults and configure them again to stop disconnecting. This happens with just one device or in a mesh with 3 units, and with the latest firmware and this beta.

My solution was to connect these devices to my ISP router and use the Be550 for the others.

To maintain stability and connected devices I need to return to factory defaults. If the power goes out or there is a need to restart, Amazon devices start connecting and disconnecting after a few minutes, there is no solution in the wifi settings that will return it to normal, only return to factory defaults.

My Galaxy S25 Ultra smartphone shows up as a wired connection on Tether

I'm a little disappointed due to the amount of money spent and the problems.

Log from one of my mesh satellites:

  @Legalmap

I had the same problem. I changed the DoT/DoH setting to None. Haven't had any problems since. Running build: 20250306.

wait, so this is a pre-release firmware, but also you can't revert back to a previous version if this one causes problems? How do you think the acceptance of router owners is to test, find issues, and then not be able to roll back to the previous more stable version? I'd like to hear more about that. Is the 1.1.1 now stable, or not? Any new or more stable version coming up? Timeline for releasing that? Until then, i'll stay on the current version... Because why roll the dice, and it turns out there's issues with streaming and other things?

  @TheRealRoland

This pre-release firmware for the Archer BE550 can be downgraded to the previous official version.

If you have upgraded to the pre-release firmware on your BE50 and are experiencing otherwise, please let me know so I can forward your case to our engineers.

Friday

  @Ryan When will we get a firmware update for BE9300 so that we can have AP easymesh? I own a BE9300 and BE550 and while BE9300 is equivalent to BE550, the firmware for BE550 won't load on it and there's no equivalent firmware for BE9300 as of yet.

I had to put both in AP mode for multi-wan and easymesh is now lost.
