Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 30230611 Rel. 73423

Model is actually TL-WA1801 but model drop down wouldn't let me enter that. It's set up for access point mode and is working well but when I look at status on app or online it never shows a client hooked up. Always indicates "Working well" and always shows "No online clients". I tried it with DHCP off, and with dynamic and static ip, also tried with DHCP on auto with the same results.

When using it in AP mode, it's best to use a static IP address and DHCP set to off. Reboot the AP and give it some time to show the connected clients.

Thanks. The reboot made the clients show up but they would disappear a few minutes later. Switched to Multi-SSID Mode with static ip and DHCP off and it became stable and works fine now.

Keep in mind that in Multi-SSID Mode a different VLANs are supported by the AP and if your router doesn't support VLANs you may end up using only the SSID with a VLAN 1.
