Hello! Have my BE800 in my garage connected to a 10g fiber modem. I've set up an easy mesh system in my 2 story home. No real connectivity issues, just that the BE800 seems to be the ap that most devices want to connect to, even when you are next to an AP/Satellite. The BE800 is routing to wired ethernet connections that are utilizing the 2.5g portions. I *could* move the BE800 into the house and then use a 2.5g switch to route to other devices, but also like having the device in the garage for when I'm working on stuff outside.

Is it really that much stronger a signal even when devices are next to an AP / Satellite upstairs (a good distance away and lots of floor/walls etc. between)

I don't think there would be a setting to tweak, just devices mostly newer devices preferring to roam to the BE800?

Any ideas or suggestions? My network is in turn running slower because time / distance to the BE800. I can rename in AP mode and much much faster than in mesh.
