The Tapo Charge Guard Protection feature is an excellent tool for preserving battery health, particularly for low-power devices such as phones and laptops, given its 20-watt threshold. However, larger battery systems, which typically require higher charging power, would greatly benefit from an adjustable Charge Guard threshold.

For instance, I use a 500Wh battery system that charges at 180 watts. To optimize battery longevity, I would like the smart plug to automatically switch off once charging tapers and power consumption drops below this threshold. Increasing the Charge Guard limit beyond 20 watts would allow users to customize it for higher-wattage devices, enhancing its versatility and effectiveness in protecting a wider range of battery systems.
