I did not pull from wall to notate hardware version, it was updated to latest firmware before use.
My question is, how do I create a 2.4g only network so I can connect LAView cameras that require a 2.4g only network to connect?
My camera were working on my old WIFI6 router that had the 2.4 and 5 as unique channels, but this router appears to combine the 2 in 1 and it decides which to communicate in?? I have not logged into device other than through the app on my smartphone, I looked around inside of that, may have overlooked something, but did not see any way to have deicated 2.4 or 5g networks or assign them their unique SSID or passwords. So sorry if it was in there, I missed it..
Side note, I worked IT as Field Engineer for 20 years but after a not so recent tick bite I lost my ability to read and learn new things, so was forced into early retirement as technology is ever changing and this is what I would encounter in field when helping a client who was up and running fine on their WIFI6 and when updated to latest n greatest we have a work outage...
Also will this device ever get full WIFI7 features such as WPA4 or the 6g band in future?
