Content Filtering at Router Level (i.e. Adult websites)

I could not find a recent thread that indicated I can filter categories (for example Adult website) at the router level for all devices. I have the Tether app and I understand I can create a profile and select specific devices by MAC address and configure filters for that profile. As many other threads have stated this is very limiting and hard to maintain.

It's 2025. Can I still not enable a content filter at the router level? Ideally with a whitelist/exception list of approved devices? I have a huge list of devices, don't know what they all are and new devices join the network.

You could use a DNS that has the blocking you want.
