Any way to save settings in human readable formate?

Model: Archer C2
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.9.1 5.0 v0032.2 Build 170228 Rel.38431n

I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this, but I thought I'd ask.

I'd like a text version of the router settings, to make it easy to transfer them to a new router, should I need to.  Is there any way to do this?  Any text format, such as CSV, would be acceptable.

Thanks,

Drake

I do not know of any router that does that. That would be a great feature to have.

I have used Screen Capture to save the settings and also have wrote my own script in a word program. Currently creating a script for an OPNsence bridge install.

When copying from one router to a another router of a different model, I have made the IPs different (example: 192.168.1.1 and 192.168.25.1) so I can have both in different browser windows.

I agree.  I've never seen it, either.  I was just hoping.

I find screen captures to be cumbersome.  And, it doesn't fix the problem of having to go through the entire menu tree, to find all of the settings.  Some are in different tabs, that are easy to overlook.  Etc.

In my case, I'm going to put OpenWrt onto this router.  So, I won't have it available to look anything up that I forgot/didn't find it.

I have been there.

Back up the current settings if able before the change, that way if you need to recover, you can get your settings back.

Go thru the settings before the change and review them, making notes on changes and any special settings.
