"Cast to Device" no longer works for any Windows 10/11 clients after new Deco BE63 install
I just installed an new Deco BE63 (2-pack) Wifi 7 mesh system to replace my ancient Netgear router. I configured the new Deco network to be identical to my old Netgear network configuration - i.e., used the same SSIDs, security settings/passwords, same wired & wireless clients, etc.. All network clients were tested (I have 3 wired devices, and up to 25 wireless devices) and they all have good connectivity to one another within the local network and out to the internet (download & upload).
The problem I'm having is my Windows 10 or 11 PCs/laptops can no longer use the "Cast to Device" function to stream music or video/sound out to my TV or receiver. When I still had my old Netgear router, this was never an issue - the Windows 10/11 client would easily find my TV or receiver on the network, and then content would stream to the selected device. Now after the change to the Deco BE63 network, when I try to "Cast to Device" in Windows, Windows reports that "no devices were found". This behaviour applies to a wired Windows 10 desktop client (connects to the main BE63) and all of my Windows 10/11 wireless clients. I've used a ping to test for connectivity between each of these Windows clients to my TV and receiver, and the pings route thru with no issues, so I'm stumped here. Guessing this could be a Windows 10/11 firewall or security issue as it's a new router - any hints on what to try to fix this?
Thanks in advance!
