I live in a rural area with few ISP options, but I do have a good cellular signal.
I want to connect an AX55 to a Samsung tablet's mobile hotspot to use the AX55 to project wifi to the rest of my home, but I just can't seem to figure how to do it.
A browser search indicates it's possible and to refer to TP -Link community sites for specifics.

Not all routers have that working mode. The specs for that router does not show that mode. Mosty it is the so called travel routers that have that mode.

Brave AI responded this unit was capable of doing what I was trying to do, but as it turns out, I discovered this particular unit to be defective anyway. It wouldn't recognize anything on the USB and the 2023 firmware could not update.
Asus seems to have models more suitable anyway. I'm returning the Archer and am going to try using one of those.
You can not rely on AI. Always check the specs on the vendors site and I also do not get one that says a feature will be added in the future.
