Model: Deco BE16000   Deco BE95
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

For what I paid for these four WiFi routers, I am getting terrible coverage, and I want to throw them all IN THE TRASH.  I have a BE95 connected to my FIOS modem via Ethernet with the network of three BE16000s connected via WiFi to the BE95.  This system is VERY unstable and cannot maintain consistent and constant contact with my wireless home devices including my home security cameras. I replaced my Apple AirPorts (three Extremes and five Expresses) with this system in my 1600 sq ft home, and I got FAR BETTER PERFORMANCE with my 15-20 year old AirPort Extremes and AirPort Express extenders.  I thought I was buying quality with Deco's WiFi routers, and I think I have made a huge mistake.  I am thoroughly disgusted with these products, and I want to return them all and go back to my Apple AirPort setup that gave me far more reliable connections to ALL of my connected devices on demand and continuously, including my connected Time Machine network storage devices.  I cannot get my BE16000s to recognize the drive capacity of the drives connected to them, but the lack of stable connectivity is the bigger problem.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT LINE!!

@PhilaScott have you tried removing the BE95 from your network and using the BE16000's?

There are multiple problems with the BE95, including connectivity issues, all of which are probably causing your issues with the BE16000's.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Unfortunately that had no effect whatsoever. Now I cannot even log into my 2.4Ghz network. I thought by replacing my Apple WiFi ecosystem with this mesh network, I was gaining functionality, flexibility, and future-proofing my connected house.  Ugh.  I guess I'll have to call *gasp* tech support.   I'm used to troubleshooting technology by myself, and I've had decades of success doing just that, but this has me vexed.

@PhilaScott are your BE16000 in router or AP mode?

Thanks for helping me troubleshoot this. Router mode. I thought I made a mistake and moved it to AP mode but that didn’t help, so I moved it back to router mode.
