I have a new AX3000 extender that's working fine. I only need it sporadically, however, for an Amazon Alexa in my garage that's far from my router. I can't see leaving the TP-Link plugged in and powered on 24/7 for the few times a week I need it. The unit has no power button, so if I simply unplug it when I don't need it, will I need to re-pair the Alexa to the _ext version of my wi-fi network each time, or will the Alexa recognize it since it's theoretically supposed to look for that network ID?
