upgrade for tp-link m5 mesh network with interference issues
I've currently running 3 m5 mesh routers (most recent firmware.)
Based on my monitoring with a couple different apps, there seems to be a lot of interference, apparently due to proliferation of neighborhood wifi.
For most of my devices (~40), this wouldn't matter much but I've got 8 wifi cameras that keep dropping connection.
I can usually monitor one camera at a time w/o issue but when I bring up multiple cameras, the connections become unstable and drop.
I've considered just adding a couple more m5 routers but I don't think that's going to help overcome to the interference.
Range extenders don't help, may actually contribute to the problem.
House is about 2k sq foot 2 story. 4 of the cameras are outside the house.
I'm considering replacing the m5 mesh with an AXE5400 Tri-Band WiFi 6E Router (Archer AXE75).
I'm wondering if this would this help with interference issues and/or improve connectivity to the cameras?
The furthest camera from the router location would be outside, about 50ft away, with multiple walls between it the router.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated!
