@rogernewengland I set a DHCP reservation up for my printer in the router settings, so its the same all the time.  Might wanty to try that, power cycle the printer so it gets the new address.  

One of the lights is for the USB port.

  @DVair please provide procedure to set that up in router; i made comment i did not get a manual. is there perhaps you-tube video showing setup process?

Go to the TP Link web site for your router, at the top of the page click support, and you may see an option for the user manual, if not, click on version number and select the lowest number. It has the user manual. 
 

you need the printer and router in the same sub range, ie 192.168.1.xxx or 192.168.0.xxx. So change either the router or the printer if hardcoded in the printer.

Changing the IP address in the konica minolta unit did it; still working out print issues getting print full page, got one, test others soon.

Thanks for help, though was little confusing for non-IT person I am.  The manual is not straight forward on this matter but you certainly clued where to look.
