Hi,

I recently bought the RE500X, however the ethernet port does not seem to be working. I have a device that is ethernet only, so I had intended for the RE500X to bridge the gap to the router over WiFi. 

The device is hooked up to the RE500X over an ethernet wire, with the extender itself set to Wireless extender mode, and not Access Point Mode.

However the ethernet port does not seem to be active. Either the port was DOA or something about the detail text in the firmware implies what I am trying to do isn't possible.

As a control, the device was previously connected to the router with the same ethernet cable, so I know they're working as intended.

The wireless part of the extender works otherwise, and is able to communicate with the router and broadcast its own 2.5/5 GHz bands just fine.
