Hi,

I have a set up a X50 main Deco set in router mode, with several M9 Plus units functioning as repeaters in 4 separate floors. The wifi connection between floors is not very good, so I want to connect them via ethernet cables. 

The setup would be like this:

modem > Main Deco 1 in router mode > ethernet cable > Deco 2 > ethernet cable > Deco 3 > ethernet cable > Deco 4

I read in another thread that I needed a switch to achieve this, but I'm not quite sure why I can't connect ethernet cables directly between the decos?
