Unable to access router because of outdated SSL?????????????

Model: Archer AX21
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1

Trying to access router webpage, using either 192.168.01., 192.168.0.1, or tplinkwifi.net as instructed . Connection either times out or gives me the following error message

Error code: SSL_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED_VERSION

  • The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.
  • Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem.

This website might not support the TLS 1.2 protocol, which is the minimum version supported by Firefox.

Have also tried using Chrome, with the same response. Using Teather (which doesn't allow much control), I've checked for updates, and I'm using the latest version. This has been happening for a few days now, with connected devices randomly dropping off network for anywhere from 10 sec to 3 min. Rebooted both modem and router.

@GizmoJojo Have you tried access using explicitly http://tplinkwifi.net and making sure the web browser isn't upgrading the connection to https://  ?

Also, try clearing cookies for the site by pressing the icon with a red-slashed lock symbol in the browser's address bar then restarting the browser.

Sounds like you have HTTPS management enabled in the router's administration section? Local Management settings - AX21

if able to disable using Tether App, try that then see if you can connect otherwise a full reset of the router's settings may be needed.
