Model: TL-WPA8631P KIT
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

I have a TPlink router and one TL-WPA8631P KIT. It works well. I'd like to extend WiFi to other parts of the home with another TL-WPA8631P KIT. Is it better to have two separate kits, both connected to the router; or share one router connection over the power line to two wireless extenders?

The router is located at the home breaker box with seperate outlets for each power line circuit the extenders will connect to, so if two router connections are used, the tcp/ip connection will not pass thru a breaker. I don't know if two seper signals will interfere with each other, or if one signal shared with two extenders will reduce bandwidth.

Thank you for any guidance!!

Tom

Hi  @Tom6666 you can choose another Powerline kit and add the new devices at the existent network by pressing for 1 second the PAIR button on one of the older device.
