TP Link Deco XE75 limited to 100mbs wired
I've had my Deco Xe75 for a few months and connection has been great up until a few weeks ago.
I have gigabit Ethernet speeds through my ISP and over WiFi I can get around 800-900 which is great but with my wired connection straight into my router I only get 100mbs download speed.
This is the same on all 3 ports which are all supposed to be gigabit ports.
I've tried different cables, I've restarted the router and the modem multiple times. I've checked my router settings though the app and nothing is out of place or even different from a few weeks ago when everything was working fine.
I'm very upset that my Internet connection took such a big hit and I need to fix it ASAP.

Have you considered reverting to an earlier firmware version?
You can find the available firmware versions at the following link:
https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/download/deco-xe75/#Firmware
Please ensure that you select the correct hardware version, which can be found on the bottom of your Deco device.
Identify the current firmware version you are using and download the prior version.
To perform the update, access the Deco web UI by entering "tplinkdeco.net" in your browser. Navigate to Advanced > System > Firmware Update, click on 'Browse', select the firmware bin file, and then click on 'Upgrade'.
Regardless of whether this resolves the issue, please submit a support ticket following the instructions provided in the post linked below. This will inform the support team if there
are any concerns with the version of the firmware you are currently using.

Hello, and thank you for the suggestion.
I attempted a firmware downgrade and it did not solve my issue.
There are two recent (from this year) versions I tried this with, one from June this year and one from January.
I attempted to downgrade to the one from June first and it didn't change anything, I even rebooted the router after the downgrade and rebooted the modem.
I followed the exact same process and tried to downgrade to the firmware version from January and I'm still limited to 100mbs download on a wired connection and I still get 800-900mbs on Wi-Fi.
Please advise

Was the wired connection achieving speeds greater than 100 Mbps a few weeks ago? Do you have a switch on your network?
Is the wired connection referring to your computer? It seems that the Ethernet card in your computer or device may be limited to a maximum speed of 100 Mbps.

To answer your questions, yes previously my computer was getting 800-900mbs download speeds wired up directly to the router.
I've tried multiple computers wired directly to the router and they all are limited to 100mbs download, while they all get much higher speeds over WiFi. Anywhere from 250-800mbs.
It's certainly not my computers that are the issue. I'm not sure what happened to the router but I've tried everything expect for a full factory reset.
I would like very much to keep using this router and not the ISP provided one much I'm not seeing any other way I can fix this issue.

Just to rule out the modem can you run a cable from the back of your router to your pc?
Not sure there is a setting in the app that would cause this problem

I have already tried that.
Like I said earlier I've already connected multiple computers directly to the back of the router.
I've even tried connecting a computer directly to the back of the modem which failed to connect to the Internet entirely.
I've also restarted my modem few times and like I've stated the WiFi works fine at 800-900mbs.
Is there some warranty on this router? I purchased it from Amazon in January.

I recommend reviewing the warranty policy before proceeding with a return. It would be advisable to open a support ticket, as the support team may assist you in resolving the issue.

Same Exact Problem, Identical in every aspect. Suddenly my XE75 decided to default wired connection to 100mb. The app is a joke. Adapter settings (also a TP link NIC) checked for speed. Please post your resolution. Previous X20 had problems not recognizing wired ports after some BS firmware upgrade, now here we go again with X75 choking the wired ports @HelpFixDecoApp

I identified the issue as a malfunctioning Ethernet port in my home network. To troubleshoot, I temporarily disconnected my Deco and network switch and connected an Ethernet cable directly from the modem to my computer.
Once I made this connection, my download speed returned to the expected 500 Mbps, up from 100 Mbps. After confirming that the modem was functioning properly, I reconnected the Deco. I connected cables from both ports on the Deco to my computer, and I consistently achieved download speeds of 500 Mbps from both ports.
After reconnecting the switch, I connected a port from the switch to the back of my computer, but the speed remained at 500 Mbps.
The port I typically use, located behind me, may be faulty, or there could be an issue with the cable connected to that port. Additionally, it is possible that the port in the network room is also malfunctioning.
