Model: Deco W7200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.3 build 2023091212 Rel. 68197

I installed the Deco w7200 months ago and used the internet connection without problems until about 02:00 ET.  At that time, the system suddenly crashed.  Luckily, I had a backup internet access.  It took me over 20 hours to reconnect to the internet and all of my nodes. To solve the problem, I searched Google, the TP Link forum, multiple websites, and the TP-Link support. After HOURS of Google search, forums recommended by TP-Link, and multiple other links were searched, I tried the online agent,  After 2 visits to the online agent chat forum, I was able to solve the problems.  I had 2 problems.  The first agent chat took over 2 hours, including waiting in the queue for about an hour.  The first agent solved 1 of the problems in about 1 hour after the chat started.  I had to leave the chat before the 2nd problem was resolved due to personal reasons.  Several hours later, I was able to get a live human agent online and solve the 2nd problem within 30 minutes.

The entire experience was very frustrating and disgusting.  In my opinion, I should have been able to solve my problems with one online Google search. NOT SO SIMPLE  In my opinion, if I had been able to have a phone conversation with a real live human customer service representative, all of my issues would have been resolved within 60 minutes maximum.  I do not know of any major corporation that dues not have live human contact for customer service.

After everything had finally been resolved, I researched TP-Link and found that it is essentially a Chinese company.  I am not sure if this has any bearing on my situation.  However, this certainly makes me feel that TP-Link has limited to minimal interest in customer satisfaction.  In my opinion, TP-Link does not want the expense or "inconvenience" of  providing a live human phone conversation.

Overall, despite the previous several months of successful use of TP-Link Deco, I feel that the total experience has been disconcerting, discouraging, disheartening, mediocre, unsatisfying, and unpleasant.

I have purchased an Asus Zen WIFI AX (AT8).  I will hopefully see an improvement in all aspects of my wifi mesh experience.

@mortimer If you want to constructively contribute to this forum, it would be useful to describe the problems and the solutions.
