Hello, I just bought an Archer AX1450 Router and my internet works great.

I bought this new router specifically for better VR gaming, and many guides say that forcing your 5G WiFi onto the 80MHZ channel provides a noticeable improvement in quality and stability.

The problem is, there appears to be no way to select 80MHZ for my 5G Network in my router settings page.

On my 2G network, it allows me to set 3 options: "20MHZ", "40MHZ", and "20MHZ/40MHZ" (which I presume just means something like "Auto")

But on my 5G Network, there is no option to solely select 80MHZ. The options are only "20MHZ", "20MHZ / 40MHZ", "20MHZ / 40MHZ / 80MHZ". If this setting were to change during gaming or be automatically put onto either the 20MHZ or 40MHZ channels when I begin gaming, the quality would be poorer.

Is there some alternative way to force my 5G network to solely use the 80MHZ channel? Below are pictures to describe what I'm talking about.

Since you can't select only 80Mhz channel width, keep your current setting of "20MHZ / 40MHZ / 80MHZ". It should be an equivalent of the Auto setting in other FW releases.

Here's a story you could use and play with wireless channel selection to achieve 80MHz channel width. It's about 160Mhz channel width, but it's valid for 80Mhz as well.
