Firmware Version: 1.0.30 Build 230919 Rel.52342n

whenever im in wireless mode i can get up to 800 as the router advertised but whenever i go into AP mode im limted by 100mbps entirely. how to fix.

You can't fix this because when using RE315 in AP mode you're using its LAN port - 1 x 10/100Mbps according the RE315 specifications.
