Using tether app on iPhone latest iOS.

Whenever a new device join my network it provides a txt alert without much of useful details. When I click the push alert it takes me to tether app login and logs into the device! that it's. It won't take to the new device just joined details.

When I go to clients list it is not useful either because it is sorted alphabetically. Not newly joined. I don't know which client just joined the network. It's useless either.

Am I missing anything here?

is there a way to find out exactly who and what client joined my network thru iPhone app?

Any help greatly appreciated.

In case if this is not supported is it possible to support this feature in the next update of the app?  Please let me know. Thanks.

Here's the guide for configuring tether alerts - make sure you're with the tether app latest release.

If you can't customize these alerts further then the features you're describing are not implemented.

You can file a feature request here:

If this was helpful click once on the arrow pointing upward. If this solves your issue, click once the star to mark it as a "Recommended Solution".

This should be done by you or a site administrator. This restriction is probably because that you don't have enough posts in the community so far.

On the other hand I am pretty sure that the site admins will notice your request.

one thing you could do is use address reservation for all of your known devices. Then when a new one is added, you can see the ip is not one of the reserved addresses. Better info in the app would be better.
