Model: RE715X
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.11 Build 20230721 rel 34344

I read this https://community.tp-link.com/us/home/forum/topic/203466 but I am hoping that there is a newer/better answer by now.

I installed an Archer AX10000 and an RE715X Extender in a mesh configuration to ensure that two "delicate" (wrt WiFi signal strength) devices get a "high-powered" WiFi signal. The "delicate devices" are connecting to the AX10000 (at 66 feet and 56% signal strength thru numerous walls) instead of the Extender (at 22 feet an 82% direct line-of-sight).

What can I do to (force?) connect the devices to the Extender so they receive a strong WiFi signal and remain stable?

There's no better answer than that you already saw.

You can lower AX10000 Advanced=>Wireless Settings=Ttransmit Power to Middle and check if there's any improvement.

  @Aussie_Z

Thanks for the suggestion ... The "system" is stable for now ... but I might give it a try in the future.
